Gimmick: Anthony Caffrey doesn't have a gimmick. Caffrey will not be putting on cheap masks, doing dance moves or karate, or anything like that. Caffrey is a professional wrestler, a damned good one, and he does not care about being a cartoon character. He is a man obsessed with his personal greatness, and he does not tolerate bullshit.

Let's just get this out of the way: Anthony Caffrey is better than you. And to make matters worse, he knows he's better than you. If Caffrey executes properly, there are few men that can go toe-to-toe with him. He's a young man at the age of 27, but he's been in the business for years - he's in his prime, and he knows that, too. This, along with an intelligence that could be considered one of the highest in the company, if not the highest, fuels his voice on the microphone: he will cut you down before you've even set foot in the ring with him. His verbal arrogance can come off as cocky, because he's cocky. He has never sold himself as less than great - he's a full believer in himself.

There have been rumors for years that Caffrey ditched the power game he used to play in his youth just to make people tap out and admit that they don't have what it takes. Caffrey will also showcase himself at times by hitting any suplex known to man, but once he sees a body part is injured, it is blood to a shark. His finishing submission maneuver is the CAL - Caffrey's Ankle Lock, and the list of ankles it has broken is quite high. If he can't break the ankle, he will settle for the Brotherly Love, a DDT he has used since his first year in the industry. You'll also see a showman/sinister smile appear on his face once he's gotten his way.

With all of that being said, something important is to be established: he will tear down an opponent, but he will never tear down the crowd. He knows what hardships they've been through, and he knows what they're there for. His respect for the crowd can be felt in his longer speeches, but in summary, he knows that he's their knight in shining red tights.

Biography/History
To summarize an extensive wrestling career, Caffrey debuted as a fresh face at the age of 21 with the name The Philadelphia Phighter. He was always more than his name, and after a few years of royally sucking, he got better once he made the move to switch to switch styles. Of course, during this time period, he lost the name The Philadelphia Phighter in a wager against a world champion, and decided to go by his real name instead.

Once he started using his real name, he decided to stop power lifting and concentrate on wrestling knowledge. Almost over night, Caffrey began to start racking up victories, which fueled his massive, massive ego.

He knows the struggle of the working man because he's worked to get where he is, years and years of being in the industry have exposed him to many different wrestlers and their styles. Great rivalries with The War Machine, Colby Cash, Grinnin, Powerbomb McGee, Faith Dunkarino, Apokalupsis, Michael Brewer, and Dexter Point have taught him many a valuable lesson - and shaped him into the champion he believes he is.

One thing that has been with him since day one is his tongue - he has always taken pride on his verbal skills, a skill that it's believed he picked up from his father, a great orator of his time as well. Others believe it's because Caffrey simply doesn't have much of a filter, and does not care about hurting feelings.

The last company he was in, he had actually just become World Champion when the powers-that-be took to screwing him out of the championship. Caffrey responded, in a rather bold move, by lighting the place on fire with a group of individuals. He then tried to start his own organization, but was shut down due to a massive lawsuit. It's believed that he has come back to wrestling to prove himself as World Champion once again - or maybe he's just strapped for cash. He tries not to dwell on it.
